We will be emailing the May Newsletter to all Guild Members that have an email address. For those individuals that do not have email you may receive your Newsletter at the May Guild Meeting. Last months meeting was wonderful and I enjoyed meeting even more guild members. Please remember to bring a door prize gift and a treat if May is your Birthday month. The Guild does need additional help with many of the different committees that we have so if you are able PLEASE volunteer and pitch in. Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month where we learn from nationally known Quilters. We also have show and tell, door prizes, charms squares, block of the month and many more activities that you would love. We are a guild with 150+ members in the Temecula/Murrieta Valley, located north east of San Diego, CA, where the 15 and 215 freeways meet.
We are very active in our community by making quilts for the military wounded, babies and HUGS for Children, which is a non profit organization that assists foster families. We have also made donations to breast cancer and disaster relief agencies.
Be sure to mark your calendar so you will not miss our one-day outdoor quilt show in Old Town Temecula on October the 6th. You will not be disappointed, this year proves to be bigger and better than ever before.
